Product Description
The DRB50 Rural is suited to anyone that may have a large amount of periodic clearing and/or serious brushcutting to do. It will cut through almost all types of brush including blackberry, thistles, tussock and anything else you can find for it to destroy. It uses our own 49cc high performance 2 stroke engine and comes complete with a padded Back-Pack harness, Flexible Drive, ergonomic extra wide throttle trigger and extra large fuel tank.
DRB50 is not recommended for use around the home because it is specifically designed for rural applications and heavy clearing work. If you have acreage, scrub, commercial land or a working farm and need a heavy hitter to get on top of problem areas then DRB50 is the machine for you.
The DRB50 uses a very powerful but lightweight 2 stroke engine comprising nearly 50cc of high revving performance. The engine is closely related to those used in our chainsaw range and gives exceptional output (2.3hp). The Back-Pack and Flexible Drives makes this a safe, comfortable and easy to use machine giving you great mobility and superior balance so that you can focus on your footing, safety and the task at hand.
Conventional straight shaft clearing brushcutters of equivalent power are very heavy machines and operating these machines is a challenging, tiresome and dangerous task, particularly in the summer heat when full covered clothes and all the safety gear means you often get little done because of the physical demands placed on the operator. The DRB50 is a logical solution to these problems, because it reduces the physical demand required through superior weight distribution on the body and better ergonomics.
